People say they want change, but they never say what kind of change. Good change cannot come out of hate. Bill Maher said last night if we elect Trump it will only be a week or two before he will be calling Merkel a big fat pig. And I'm afraid that's true and very worrisome-lol. Over the last 40 years we've made a couple of huge mistakes in my opinion. One is we've tried to privatize so many institutions that should be public responsibility, for example prisons. A lot of this comes out of people following Milton Friedman and has been propagated by the neocons. The other is that too many leaders have it in their head that the best appointments for department heads ore business people. In my opinion that is nuts because they have no training in that area. The best people to appoint as department heads are people that have knowledge of social science and general administration. Business people by large don't know anything about social science, yet that's what they are involved in when organizing and administering programs for a society.
