*The guy took on the entire establishment including his own party* when he stood alone and held up a 4 trillion dollar budget and shut down government over Obamacare. He doesn't have to call people names to show his guts. I don't think most of the so called angry folks know that what Cruz did, based on principle and his promises to voters, was akin to political suicide. All the MSM and folks of his own party branded him Ishmael He stood in defiance of BOTH parties. You don't receive party funds and you don't receive cherry assignments. A few of my friends are ardent supporters of Trump and that is perfectly fine by me but when some say that Cruz is an "insider" and Trump is an "outsider", they have either the roles or definitions reversed. Trump has been feeding the political apparatus of DC for decades. Cruz has exposed it for the corruption it is. Many of the conservative voters are rightfully angry at the Republican Party for reneging on their campaign promises, Cruz was one of the very few that stood alone. That takes a ton of courage and conviction.
