If you read the posts on the board during the first guest appearnace of "The Fools", I think the consensus viewpoint was that these feather weights (in my opinion) were strictly entertainment. In case you haven't already checked their resume, their backgrounds are described at the fool's website.

The last time they were on, I noted their website plugged a summer cruise with the fools. It occurred to me that one booking passage on that trip could be booking passage on "The Ship of Fools" :-). I e-mailed this message to them and they responded "OOH PETE, you're really onto something here". Hearing today's program, I now know what they meant as they used that line referring to their brief (and hopefully last) hijacking of The Starship Moneytalk.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that the real Starship Commander returns in 1998 and continues his one man war on poverty. In my opinion, any comparisons of Brinker to Seinfeld's wise decision to jump off that sinking ship are invalid. Brinker's programs just keep getting betting with time. Seinfeld's shows have been declining ever since co-founder Larry David left the program two years ago. Reruns of Brinker's programs would never work due to dated material. Seinfeld programs during their golden period (Year 3 though two years ago) will be laughed at in reruns for ever just like many other classic sitcoms.
