IMO it probably the same as the 1980 leveraged buyouts which ended with the collapse of the high yield debt market ... IMO it will end also as soon as the Fed has to end the free money area ... BTW IMO should be pretty soon. As for Canada, just a guess on my part but I think they needed the money so they sold their gold assets..
