I have used local non VA facilities when I have to travel a long distance. The VA ask me if I want to do that when travel is an issue. They even make the appointment for me. Most times I want to use the VA, even when it is further to travel, because the service is on time and better. My VA provides transportation if I want it. The vehicles are denoted to our facility by DAV. John 11Bravo Western Pa.
