If you've never seen this website, I suggest you check it out. You can put in any date and see the alignment of the planets at that moment in time (forward or backward). You can click on the screen and move the image to see the solar system from different angles, zoom in and out, click on a planet, etc.... I find it a fun place to play around with every now and then.
