it looked really dire
About 20 years ago, I was playing golf in Scottsdale in 112 degree heat. Naturally, I felt hot but was unaware that I was on the verge of heat stroke. Fortunately I was playing with a doctor who came up and guided me into a water hazard and had me submerge until my face, which was bright red, returned to its normal color.

It surprised me a little that all they were using were bottles of water when there was an ocean yards away.
