Scott: Bust away! I am learning as we go along. Could you explain in a little more detail about how hedging (i.e., shorting - which involves selling the stock - which I assume takes money out of the stock) puts more money into the stock via the uptick rule. I am vaguely familiar with the uptick rule - although I am not sure I understand it. I thought it applied only to NYSE stocks and MSFT is Naz. Clinton
