The term weak hands was made up by professionals to encourage others to hold while they themselves got out. It was thrown around as a derogatory term trying to embarrass those who took profits.

I don't know how much you trade. Money is made not by being right in ones own mind. It is made by being on the right side of the trade. Meaning holding long or being short in the direction of the trend.

David and others I believe sold off a bunch. It has nothing to do with being "weak" It has to do with protecting your trading account. They knew exactly what they were doing. They have been involved or connected to these kind of ventures for years. They were on the executive & director boards. That is why they say watch what insiders do.

For retail folk who are not privy to the information they are. When a stock has had a good rise then falls below it's 50ma. It says the trend has changed. It is now selling below what the average price buyers were willing to pay over the last 50 days. And shareholders have been steadily selling off for two and a half months. That says something . The stock is in a down trend.

When price falls thru the 50ma the 20 day moving average is not far behind confirming the slide. Pull up some charts on various stocks and look.
I think what retailers don't realize is. The majority of shareholders come from all over the World and never ever read S/H, A/G or this board. And many of them are professional players.

With a discount broker, It only takes $9.95 to sell and $9.95 to buy back in again when it is lower. Some brokers as low as $4.95. You loose that much with a one cent drop.

Personally I sell and take profits on anything which drops below the 50ma. I don't
care what kind of story it is. I can always buy back in again if it reverses for under $10

I have been Trading for over 45 years still make mistakes and have some losses. But not near as many after I changed my strategy.
