Joe,
well, if you really must know, my trading portfolio is approx. $180K of which 7,000 shares at (approx. $6.25) is CSGI.
I also have 3,000 shares of KEA (on margin) I bought at $30
the rest in split between CASH, few other stocks I trade, and some options.
I also have a IRA which I hold 1,000 shares of BMCS I bought last year at approx. $42
2,000 shares of CPQ I bought at $56
1,000 shares of ORCL I bought at $22 (after it crashed)
1,000 shares of EGRP I bought at $20
3,000 shares of GTW I bought at $28
500 INTC I bought at $71
The rest, approx. $60K is in Cash.
I usually sell lots of covered calls in my IRA and invest in stock that I plan to hold for more than 5 months.
I use my trading account for the short term trading, options trading, and speculative stock like CSGI and ALYD.
btw- you can not buy options in an IRA.. You can only sell calls
That is why those who wish to trade options have to do them in a cash account.
In the next four months I will be liquidating most of my IRA longs and looking to fill it up with Y2k's and possibly only keep BMCS and some CPQ.
