-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 'Bloomberg University' launches three new courses online to help investors learn more about finances
New York -- With a fast-growing "student body" taking advantage of its free online courses, Bloomberg.com will launch three new courses in February at "Bloomberg University," its online learning resource designed to teach investors how to take greater control of their fiscal futures.
Bloomberg.com http://www.bloomberg.com is the only consumer site that offers the award-winning resources of Bloomberg, the world's financial news leader. One of the Internet's most-visited sites for financial news, Bloomberg.com attracted 317 million page views in December 2001.
The new courses at "Bloomberg University", Retire Rich - How to Take Charge of the Money You've Saved; Risk and Reward: A Guide to Assessing Your Risk Tolerance and Money Management for Women will join the roster of popular classes available free of charge for investors at all levels of expertise.
"Bloomberg University" will continue to launch several new courses each month in 2002, allowing students to take as many as 12 courses at a time, according to David Wachtel, publisher of Bloomberg Media.
"Investors at all levels have been telling us how valuable they find these courses to be," Wachtel said. "The 'Bloomberg University' concept has been a success because it fits perfectly with our mission of giving investors an edge in creating their own investment and financial strategies."
As with existing "Bloomberg University" courses, the new classes ( http://www.bloomberguniversity.com) will be accessible anywhere, anytime, at no cost to Bloomberg.com users. Students will also be able to access the same high-level content and get answers from course instructors.
Users can register free of charge for one of the following new courses online ( http://www.bloomberguniversity.com)
