You don't understand what I'm saying.

The "total" energy in the atmosphere of the Earth has been increasing since we started burning fossil fuels (higher CO2 content).

I suggest you check the temp record for "overnight low temps"

They are much higher today than 100 years ago..

It's the total average temp in the atmosphere that has risen.

Resulting in more energy stored in the atmosphere and the environment.
