However a contested convention pitting Ryan-Romney-Bush's-Soros against Trump may well shake the foundation of the Republican Party only this time on a very public stage all under one roof. I'm starting to think that I would rather see this occur now, and get it all out in the open. If the GOPe gives in now to Trump, 98% of the population will never know what goes on. They (establishment) will have to suck it up for 4 to 8 years, then they have their unlimited power back. Of course they will groom somebody in the next 4 years to displace Trump with money being no object. If they make this a wide open food fight, the GOPe will lose BIG TIME with their base and the public opinion.
