One final thought today on the Apple/ FBI case this isn't a case where the FBI presented Apple a phone and Apple told the FBI to pound sand. Apple readily gave them the iCloud information it had. It gave the FBI advice on how to recover from the phone what could be recovered. Apple didn't refuse to cooperate. Apple is asking for a limit to what it is being asked to do. there is a difference between a refusal to cooperate and seeking to establish a limit as to how far that cooperation should go.
