Ron,

Thanks for the picks. I'm familar w/ ZITL, DIMM and AVNT, PNDA and HMSC. IAIC and INFD I will look into.

In case you haven't heard, AVNT issued an S-3 on 12/23 to register a little over 500,000 shares for sale. S-3 are worth reading because they must list all current events and risks that may affect the stock price. The litigation between AVNT and Cadence was prominently spelled out.

PNDA is nearly out of cash. According to a estimate (by extrapolation) by John G. on the PNDA thread, PNDA will need to raise money before the year ends. Panda conference call a few weeks back mentioned board of directors was scheduled to meet on 12/12 (sometime during the week) to discuss financing options. I am short PNDA and have not heard anything new financing to date. I suspect the financing will come through, causing the stock price to bounce up. Short after the bounce.

I took a quick look at IAIC and INFD. I don't quite understand the attraction to shorting IAIC. I'm a novice. Maybe you can shed some light for me. As for INFD, they filed a SB-2 to register and offer 1,000,000 shares on 12/19, only to file a POS AM (to delay the filing) on 12/23. If the offering goes through, there will be major diliution, as there are only 2,750,000 shares outstanding. Another reason this caught my eye were the underwriters. The underwriters are Southeast Research Partners, Inc. and GKN Securities Corp. Southeast Research also underwrote PNDA. What a coincidence.
