great point 3bar... I failed to note how the volume drop off in the weekly AAPL chart is even more egregious and bearish than NFLX.... the 50 day MA of volume on AAPL has been sloping down since April of and defintlely Oct of 2014 and the volume over the last 8 week rally has been really lousy... it looks very distributive.

AAPL is increasingly a commodity product company and the innovations of the first decade of this century appear to have evanesced off into the thoughtleadership of other companies...

the reason I looked at the long term chart was that I am pondering that AAPL may be topping out with the product release today.
