Hi Ox, NTFX is a pipedream in terms of it's valuation and in their ability to have a growth trajectory with so many other deep pocketed content producers moving to the new models of viewing content. DIS has been getting penalized in it's stock price due to them possibly widely overpaying and locking in long term contracts on college and pro sports and the advent of the skinny bundle of cheaper more limited cable TV viewing options and the way millennials are viewing content. net income is not always the best metric to look at in valuing a stock. We want to see topline revenue growth... expanding gross margins ... obviously price to sales, P/E, Price to book.. Free cash flows are very important to look at and especially Discretionary Free Cash Flows which are cash flows that are not committed to paying any specific expense and can be utilized in the way the company sees as being the best use of capital for investors.
