The tailings in the Fish Lake drainage are always going to be looked at carefully. The perception of filling a lake with tailings is not a good one, as TKO can attest. I know people think SC has no major enviro issues, but it does not take much to imagine how minor issues could emerge as flashpoints for opposition. With the park nearby, this will encourage interest by environmental campaigners, as will the ultimate drainage to Alaska.
