I think I have a fair handle on AMD's development effort but I have no ability to factor in the cult followers, such as, but certainly not limited to, yourself and fpg. There are many cultists believing in the things they have seen, done, own or experienced. This is not only, because people tend to believe what they have experienced, but also tend to justify the things they themselves have done. It is a form of projection. I see a table tennis player hit the ball an I project the path the ball will take in order to be in position to strike the ball myself. If there is a spin that I have not accounted for and the ball does not travel as expected and is not where I expect, it seems to disappear. It is a function of dissonance, but that may not be the best way to say it.
The previous generations of cult members eventually all became disillusioned and moved on. You two are anomalies. But as I have laid out in my AMD theory of everything, because of human nature, there is always a new generation of losers who fill in the gap left by the retiring generation of losers. There is never a lack of losers dying to drink from the AMD kool-aid fountain, and equally anxious to throw their money away showing how committed to the cult they are.. It is well to cut one's losses and walk away. And also, hope springs eternal. One thing you didn't/don't see is the position Intel has put the OEMs or what is left of them. You were unable to see this because your view of what happened when Friendly Otis spread largess. You were not willing to see Intel's corruption. Just like I experienced with the ping pong ball Intel has diverged from its expected path. Have a cookie and forget your worries. Nothing is going to happen in the next few weeks if not months. Beyond that who knows.
You two show no such limit whatsoever. I hope you will consider donating your brains (for lack of a better word) to science. The advancements to the understanding of psychological disorders would be immense. I hope the imaginary animals you own have not been inseminated. Cattle should go moo or some variation, not pip pip.
I hope you appreciated the fact that I defended you on IHub. You owe me one... That you defended the truth should be its own reward. Maybe you didn't believe the truth and thought I would reciprocate with some sort of quid pro quo? Put it on my tab. |
