Unlocking a Verizon Wireless Mobile ... << I wanna switch outa Verizon but since my phone is NOT unlocked, how do I get it to accept new carrier >> If you've fulfilled your contractual commitment to Verizon Wireless they should be willing to unlock yout phone if you ask (and they are required by law to do so). If it's not fulfilled you should be able to pay an early termination fee and have the phone unlocked. The alternative is a 3rd party unlocking service. If unlocked and you switch to another GSM network service provider you may not experience the same coverage, capacity and quality of voice and/or data you and your wife currently enjoy.
