How the mosquito is convenient. Every year the municipalities and the states need some money from the government and they find a new mosquito.
Normally the mosquitoes appear during summer, no! not because it is hot. It because there is a dearth of news as the country stops for summer and the TV stations are broadcasting even if a cat climbs a tree somewhere and the firefigthers come to rescue it.

Then there is always this mosquito that start causing trouble. News cover it com gusto and pretty soon the government is doling out money to the municipalities and the states.

In 1992, one government started his mosquito scare BEFORE summer. and people stopped traveling there as the government had made a good case for his mosquitoes.

But he forgot that the businesses of his state live off the summer months and Carnival- as tourist flock to Pernambuco state.

The businessmen got angry as no one was booking hotels. The governor, his wife and kids called the TV to show them in the sea, and walking the beaches saying:

There is no health problem here in Pernambuco. Why are people being moved by the news about this mosquito? Come to Pernambuco!

Next year there will be another mosquito, amigo I know Brazilians....

They ran out of local moquitoes. Now they say the Zika one came from Africa.
How? People start asking. How can the mosquitoes fly across?

Perhaps they came in the confederations cup people 2013. Or with the people who came to see world cup.
