America also needs to wake up to the danger posed by volatile domestic right-wing terrorists. So far the attitude has been that the murders and bombings carried out by far-right terrorists are isolated incidents so we have no need to more closely monitor these bitter and disaffected individuals who are hiding in plain sight. This is a serious mistake, as even one of their mainstream leaders, Donald Trump, has threatened the country with riots this summer if the Republican Party doesn't cave and agree to make he and his porn-star wife the Republican Presidential nominee. It's shocking really, but a significant percentage of his followers are prepared to make good on his terrorist threats should he quietly give the go ahead. I don't think we've ever heard this type of terrorist threat against America issued by a Presidential candidate before. George Wallace may have come close to making this sort of threat, but I honestly don't recall it if he did.
