Occam's razor. The plots below shows basic cause-and-effect. I laugh when alarmists try to confuse the shit out of everybody with global warming, climate change, global cooling from warming...but out of disorder comes "order".

Cause-and-effect.
1) Pacific Ocean heats up
2) transfers heat to air
3) it convects
4) it rains
5) This leads to clouds & mixing air with upper-atmosphere and eventual cooling of air and oceans.

1) Equatorial Pacific upper-ocean heat anomalies plotted over the last year.


2) UAH satellite. The drop in equatorial Pacific upper-ocean heat anomalies correlates perfectly with the recent global temperature spike, which did surpass the 1998 El Nino spike. Impressive.


3) The transfer of water vapor from warm oceans to the air is obvious. See the hot spot of water vapor anomalies, which compares 1998 and 2016.


4) A lot of water vapor going into the air doesn't guarantee rain. If it does rain, then the heat comes from transfer of latent heat from phase transformation of vapor to liquid. Lets check rainfall to make sure. See the spike? So the spike in global temperature obviously exacerbated from the heat of phase transformation.



5) Here comes the cooling with upwelling of cooler waters in the tropical Pacific (a very large area).



6) In the meantime, drought is getting vanquished around the U.S. I wish it was always this warm.

I guess if CO2 traps heat, then non of this heat will escape. LOL! The problem with that statement is that the heat is already being expressed (convection/rain), and it's done its work. Thus, the heat is going away and not being trapped...unless it's accumulating in the upper-troposphere, but I've not seen a single illustration/study show that...a huge flaw in global warming theory that is never addressed (a.k.a., upper-tropospheric hot spot).
