Too cool, Harvey, I always wanted to look up (ahem) the Looking Glass reference, I knew it was from Alice, and sort of knew the "words mean what we want them to mean" part, but didn't have a pinpoint cite. Of course, I'm more into the Orwellian view on language issues these days. Ignorance is strenght, man.
Needless to say, Dan Gillmor is no relation, just another secret but honored member of the holy fellowship of the ilk. I've had no contact with him, I should keep up on his columns better though. Who knows, maybe he lurks here from time to time, though I doubt it. It's pretty strange to see all the bits and pieces of ilkish Microphobia I could have written show up in the mainstream press these days. I swear, unlike the Microsofties I got no press contacts, and very seldom write about this stuff anywhere but here.
