Hi Chip,

when I first read articles regarding Kondratiev in the early 1980's it was regarding his long-term cycle which was said to be 54 years....and as one peers deeper into the mathematics the importance of the the fractals of 18 which shows up repeatedly in the Old testament and Torah.

9,18, 36, 54 and 72 are all very significant fractals of natural law. I was able to download from tradestation a free app. that uses Gann's wheel of 9 calculator.

I put in the $WTIC low of $26.05 ... rounded to $26 and the $42 level is on the the primary diagonal line which heads along the 1 by 1 axis or the 45 degree line on the wheel.

I might have a few other thoughts on Kondratiev and his work over the next couple of days.
