What can replace the exporting model? Answer this and you will know the next half century economy

The exporting model followed by Asian in the wake of Japan post war development is dead.

The westerners defended the exporting trade model see Jagdish Bhagwati
because it was in their interest to have countries toiling to make cheaper goods and keep their inflation low.

It dominated half of last century. Asia jumped into the exporting their way out of poverty. Only they were too good at it. Now they have too much goods and capacity to export than there are customers.

Exporting still need to ship goods to where they cannot be produced. Like oil sheiks populations. But there are not many countries exporting a valuable products to consume Asian countries exports.

The exporting model see its end as China is forced to lower its currency to keep the goods affordable. And create a bank (AIIB) to fund foreign projects in countries that are similar to them which are the type of countries China know how to do business with. The Caucasus Silk Road. Is typical example.

This is noting more than the EXIMBANK and the World Bank of the post WWII selling to countrioes aligned with the western block during Cold War years.
