Roosevelt raised taxes to begin paying it down, then Truman and Ike continued 90% top rates, until they were cut to 70% by Kennedy. But Bush did NOTHING but CUT taxes and tell people to 'go shopping'! Bush was crap, terrible president. Obama's been paying off that clown's wars!
