In normal times there is nothing wrong with lending a helping hand to those less fortunate. But these are not normal times. Religion is once again setting brother against brother. Islam takes the Chosen People idea to the highest level. Perhaps centuries of editing and redacting could sanitise the core message of Islam (as worked for Christianity) but that is extremely doubtful. Hate literature can never inspire peace.
