Pardon the butt-in, but I have read Paul Engel's posts for as long as I can remember and I have found him an excellent guide to Intel the company. In fact, no one on the thread really compares on a consistent basis. To the extent that he is an Intel-booster, I believe you will find that (a) most of his comments concern the company, its products, and the competition; (b) he has been dutifully circumspect about the market's treatment of the stock, especially in the last several months; and (c) his perspective of the stock has been that of a long-term investor rather than a trader. The distinction between the company and the stock may seem like a minor one, but I have learned from reading Paul E's comments that it may be the most essential inefficiency in the stock market. BTW, Paul E has stated his involvement with Intel on several occasions, and it is discussed at some length in the relatively new book, Inside Intel.
