Generally interesting discusssion here about bct. The details of wagners contract are interesting to see.

First off I think the idea the trial delay is only based on this new scientific info seems unlikely to me. Presently bct just dont have the cash to start the clinical trial. In fact that $5mil wagner was expected to raise looks exactly like the amount needed for the trial. For me this remains a negative while the cash remains elusive. On the gene signature/ mode of action announcement recently, I would imagine that given the small number of patients that have been treated so far that this result must be provisional/spectulative. I'm a molecular biologist, understand the technique, but havent personnal done gene array analysis so I cant be sure but it seems identifying a specific signature associated with a specific response is going to require more samples, i.e. the patients from the upcoming trial. I'm not convinced they will prescreen based on this technique, more likely retrospective testing to confirm the gene signature and develop the companion test.

Anyway hope I havent started here too negative :) I do hold the stock because I'm excited about the potential of this cancer treatment, getting some new indication that the clinical trial is starting would be great.
