Just a thought Dale, in such a market (bear), extraordinary EPS growth is less likely to get ignored than a "blue light special" turnaround. There will be plenty of such "specials" available and how to distinguish one from another? On the other hand...the high flyers that DON'T keep growing will be cut in half or worse...so one had better be pretty CONFIDENT of continued growth if paying a high premium...

Or, don't pay the premiums, and stay out of stocks for a while (market timing, hmmm, there's a limit to how far you want to go with that IMO).

Anyway this is a good point. A lot of the specials and turnarounds won't go anywhere...there will be just too many of them in a market without liquidity. Money will always gravitate to a company that is really raking it in though! If we can find some of these without overpaying, we will do more than OK.
