I note that you've been a staunch supporter of SNDK for some time, perhaps because you owned it. You have now offered up concerns about SanDisk 3D NAND as a reason not to own WDC, while you have never offered up these identical concerns as a reason not to own SNDK. It does sound like you talk your position, talking up the stock you own, and talking down the stock you fear owning. Fear? Warren Buffet, are you listening?

Regarding your statement about "whether WDC can offer a package as low priced as competing packages," why do you believe this is an issue? Mercedes doesn't offer cars as low priced as Volkswagen, yet that doesn't appear to affect their sales.

The price of raw NAND is not going to be an issue for one simple reason, and that is that Western Digital will not be selling raw NAND. It will all be used in higher margin products. And as for "competing" products, Samsung SSD's have been nothing to write home about, and history has shown that SanDisk margins have held up well while competitors dumped inferior NAND on the spot market.
