As a recent buyer of Cymi, thinking that this might be a bargin buy, I sure am starting to have second thoughts. Its not because of the day after day sell off, but mainly due what is becoming a total lack of mgmt in terms of investor relations and corporate communications. What first brought my attention to Cymi, was the day that Joe Kernan (Cnbc) announced that its stock was taking a beating do to rumors and inuendo's. He later in the program said it appeared after Cnbc " checking out the situation closer" appeared to be based on only a surprise pullout by Cymi mgmt which was to meet with Wall Street analyst's in the next 24hrs. Obviously, that didn't seem to be the kiss of death at the time. Unfortunatley, Cymi mgmt contiues such investor debacles (believe me most Co's going thru similar stock declines, respond promptly) such behavior allows the Mr Universe's of the world, to make out like a bandit. What really makes me feel uncomfortabe here is, Cymi mgmt refusal to stick their necks out and say SOMETHING, implies that something is wrong either with earnings due out or even worse, negative going forward statements. I can't believe that they are leaving the Street and their investors to some outsourced PR co that doesn't have a clue on what really is going on inside Cymi. Oh no, I just got a DLJ message that they bought 1k of Cymi @14 3/4 for me. I should have cancelled the order before I made this post. Depressed TaffyII |
