John, isn't it wonderful that we have a company of the year (CPQ) and the Man of the Year (A.G. Intel) and both cos. have not been doing too much lately? The titles alone should have propelled the cos. upward. Maybe better late than never. CPQ is taking advantage a little. I don't know what happened to Intel again. Yes, I am looking at AMD. A little lower would be nice. After what I heard I am with P.Engel. I don't think AMD will vanish. There could be some money made. I am too heavy in tech stocks also but what the heck, the banks are so expensive, not in value but in stockprice. Too rich for my blood at this point. I had looked at Wells Fargo in the mid 260s a cpl. of months ago. Spilled milk. So AMD is getting my attention now. But no hurry there, it could take a cpl. of qtrs. Of course the name of the game is, get in before it goes up again. But there could be some more downside. Decisions, decisions!! Orcl will do ok. I got in at 22 1/2. So I am relaxed on that one. Let's hope that the rally continues for a while. The Jan/March effect could be kicking in too if Asia stays calmer. The bankers are meeting in New York right now to discuss rollover of loans to S.Korea. That should give that market a kick in the butt. But I will stay at home. Maybe the S.Korean fund would be a thought. I might go into Spain after the New Year. Not going there just going in. gg. Sorry for not being too much help. But I don't think anyone knows for sure what's going on. Whatever will be, will be..... Happy New Year and maybe the rest of this year Sonny
