Obvious I do not know what will happen in Brazil but one probably would make a mistake thinking the market will go straight up or straight down if Dimal is or is not impeached. Even the road to impeachment probably will not be as straightforward or as short as one might expect.
If impeached one can expect an initial bullish move in the markets but all the problems will remain for the new government.

O senador Lindbergh Farias (PT-RJ) disse nesta quinta-feira (31) que a correlação de forças, tanto na Câmara quanto no Senado, está mudando a favor do governo. Ele participou do Ato pela Democracia, contra o impeachment da presidenta Dilma Rousseff, no Largo da Carioca, no centro do Rio.
“Está mudando a favor da gente na Câmara e no Senado. Na Câmara hoje não tem voto para aprovar o impeachment. O Lula entrou em campo, conversou com os partidos, vai ter uma mudança ministerial, mudando a base parlamentar. Acho que foi importante a gente não ficar refém do PMDB. O Temer acabou dando um tiro no pé”, disse Lindbergh, após discursar no ato. |
