I lived in London during the better part of the 1970's.Typically I only lived in the more troubled areas. I was often picked up the police myself, though never treated badly, mainly because they never caught me doing anything wrong, but would have been jailed in a flash otherwise. I was not on their approved list of people to be nice to. I can tell some truly awful stories of racist police activity back then. Witnessed first hand. Looks like bad apples haven't been all stamped out yet. However the met police are a better force today then back then. I wonder if Muslims are properly represented in the force? It would have been interesting to hear their thoughts. Any real news enquiry would have covered that angle naturally. I looked at all the links and comments. Most of it is from hate filled armchair racists, and there is nothing special about those guys at all. All mouth and nothing else. Comments like.... Glenys Hilgeman: "The best thing we could do is to invite Donald Trump over to the UK and listen to what he has to say, at least he want's to give back America to the Americans and is a patriot." Yeah… lets give the USA back to the American Indians and push all those European immigrants back into the Atlantic where they came from. -lol- I can see that idea losing support quickly. Versus this comment here on the same Daily Express story… Josh Danby: "This is total bull - any names for these officers? Especially the “random guy on a forum” you quoted about police in Yorkshire. Ridiculous, I live in Bradford, right in the middle of the biggest Muslim area and coppers (police) walk the streets in unarmed full uniform all the time. Not to mention I’m one of the few white guys living here and nearly everyone has been polite and nice for the 2 years I’ve been in this area. My one criticism is there’s some seriously bad driving around here. This is an opinion dressed up as news." Now Josh Danby is telling it as it is, and I have lived in London under similar conditions and know he is right (except the driving bit, he should look how the OAP’s drive around where I live… all white Anglo Saxons) Your distorted news story is complete exaggerated B/S from start to finish.
