I believe there are some in Congress who are very responsible and very concerned about doing the right thing. I believe Paul Ryan is one who actually cares and is intelligent enough to know what is needed. Beyond Paul - I am hard pressed to name a Washington poll who knows a damn thing or cares a lick about the populace - and that includes the president. Some I think honestly care - but are simply delusional in their solutions (eg Bernie). I do not know which is worse - political graveness or simply economic idiocy. The loony lefty friends I have are simply obsessed with zero sum economics. I am driven to despair when I try to reason with them. I really drive them nuts when I tell them America needs more billionaires. That said, I note the hate that flows from my side when the concept of Ryan being the nominee is postulated. Bob
