Zax,
The democrats did not try to pursue and prosecute the Bush administration for sending 5 million e-mails through RNC servers and summarily deleting them, in violation of the law.
The Wikipage isn't clear as to why the Democrats did not push the issue any further.

Maybe it's just not the same thing. Ever consider that possibility, or are you grasping at straws here?
