Savolaninen, how does Orckit's ADSL product differ from Amati's ADSL which is marketed principally by Texas Instruments now given the merger of the two. Amati licensed technology to Nortel, Motorola, NEC, Pairgain and Alcatel.

My reading states that Orckit's technology is less costly than Amati's and needs less bandwidth for transmission.

What say ye?
