I just got 14 shares of CRC spun off from OXY in one of my accounts. It's worth a whopping $14 and I think the fee from the broker might end up being $25 to process the spin. I'm not sure yet, but I'm thinking it might get the $25 fee charged because I've seen similar fee for another recent spinoff, although that was an ADR.
