You are again playing games. Bork received a hearing. He was voted down.

Reid suspended the rules on filibustering because various GOP members were obstructing dozens executive branch nominees for extraordinary amounts of time. Ant not because the nominees were unqualified.

Shutting down the government is about all the GOP is good for.

Failure to act upon a supreme court nominee is an abdication of constitutional responsibility, just as was blocking executive appointments.

So you are right, the situations are the same. In both cases, the GOP governed irresponsibly, both in the majority and the minority.
