OEE with its Merlin software is in a very good position to be in. Factories will either have to get onboard the IOT revolution or close their doors. It really is that simple. There is no way in hell that an old school manufacturing facility can compete in this day and age without making full use of productivity and quality capabilities of the plants equipment. As I have heard it referred to this IOT is the industrial revolution 2.0 Plants not utilizing this technology will be as outdated as horse and buggy and oxen pulling plows were in the early 20th century. The key for Memex is the fact that they are in early and signed on with two of the best possible multi national corporations to develop and market Merlin. I have NO problem being a little lopsided with OEE. :)
