At this time, we seem to be in a waiting period for the folllowing events to take place: (1) secure an Investment Banker; (2) public disclosure of the results of Geotech's findings, and up-to-date siesmic analysis of the Chikuduk area ; (3) signing of a JV partner.

While we wait, I thought the following questions might create some interesting and worthwhile discussion:

What kind of a negotiating position is aipn in?
Will the stock price have a bearing on their bargining position?

To answer these questions, (IMHO) we need to ask ourselves this question:

If aipn's concession were to be auctioned off by the Kazak government to the highest bidder, how much would they get for it? Does anyone have an idea what it is worth in lieu of what China and Chevron has paid for their concessions?

Qdog, what are your ideas on the above mentioned questions?

Always appreciate it when you can share some of your experince and knowledge.
