that's correct. stein is no great shakes on economics either. at least he was man enough to admit schiff was right and should have listened to him (on housing). but art laffer on the other hand, refused to pay a symbolic bet that he made with schiff and lost. he made some lame excuse for not paying it. unfortunately, even schiff doesn't get everything right. i think the ones closest to perfection are walter e. williams, jim rogers and steven kates with honorable mentions to sowell, schiff and john tamny. ben stein doesn't even come close.
