If this board was to rely solely on CUU to stay alive it would be non existent. There is not much new at the moment. I think it could become a place where sensible discussion of other investing venues could be brought up. Hell we're all in this to try and make a buck from anywhere we can.

Such things I have been looking at after you brought up the Green Factor a while back Spec is power storage.
Batteries in the new Tesla and other Electric vehicles consist of 80% nickel.

C&P.
Lithium cobalt oxide (LiCoO2) is widely used in lithium ion battery cathodes. The material is composed of cobalt oxide layers in which the lithium is intercalated. During discharging the lithium intercalated between the layers is set free as lithium ion. [56] Nickel-cadmium [57] (NiCd) and nickel metal hydride [58] (NiMH) batteries also contain significant amounts of cobalt; the cobalt improves the oxidation capabilities of nickel in the battery. [57]

The main source of the element is as a by-product of copper and nickel mining. the DRC, Central African Republic and Zambia yields most of the cobalt mined worldwide.

In the 20th century, manganese dioxide has seen wide commercial use as the chief cathode material for commercial disposable dry cells and dry batteries of both the standard (zinc-carbon) and alkaline types. [23]

Green vehicles are no doubt the future. There for companies which produce Lithium, Cobalt , Manganese or Cadmium Which is used in the manufacture of Nickel/Cadmium batteries and recently introduced into solar panels should present some great opportunities. Just finding who are the movers.

I am actively looking at companies who are either already producing those products or are actively developing into that field. Any thoughts ?

And Hoghead and others looking for a place to express or disguss your views or finds or research your welcome here.

I changed the initial paragraph of the heading to accommodate broader discussion.
