Reasons:
I think there will be a Jan 1sst rally.
Asia problems seem to be resolving ( at least near term, gg, next 30 days, gg, MY time horizon)
Japan has -248 bill funds ( taxpayers got the shaft as ususal ).
-Giant foreign cash reaserves.
Their econo0my won't go anywhere but it will not default.
S.Korea is also being bailed out by the international/US taxpayer. Nobody will let Korea default Too much is at stake.
Technology will win win again.
I love INTC's Merced/Sun Micro workstation coming up.INTC down 30% is a nice discount.
Newbridge is the only networker working on a, get this, 700 Gigabyte ATM switch with Siemens. The competition's closest is about 10 GB for now. ( somebody correct me if I am wrong ). The Telcos HAVE to start upgrading for the Internet soon or they will be left behind.
Vivus tax selling will be over in 2 more trading days.THE SHORTS will start covering Jan 1 st to put their
Tax gains out another 12 months into 1998.
