The evidence shows that oswald did fire the first two shots, but neither was the fatal head shot although one of those two shots did hit JFK in the neck and could have been fatal given the wound would have had time to develop and take full effect... the secret service was in a panic hurry not to allow a legitimate autopsy and to close the case quickly and oswald was clearly a convenient and genuine suspect... a real autopsy would have shown that the head shot came from a completely different direction and also from a very different ballistic... a full metal jacket ballistic does exactly what it did for the first two shots, a hollow point ballistic does a very different kind of thing upon impact... I know the M-16 very well, I used it while in service and know and have seen what a .223 caliber hollow point does to the human body...
Obviously, it would have been far more than incredibly embarrassing for the secret service to be found out as the actual shooter, however accidental, that blew off 1/2 of JFK's head, the shock of his attack alone and subsequent death was horrible enough since he was a widely loved Camelot figure at the time, and our President...
Of course, since that shooting, there have been all kinds of theories about addition shooters on the hill and elsewhere, the mafia, and so on, but all are simply hunches and guesses and all completely unsubstantiated... however, this current investigation was conducted without bias of any kind and conducted by a highly experienced homicide detective who looked only at the facts and the evidence surrounding the crime scene itself, and those were his findings...
Frankly, for myself, as a skilled and highly trained investigator for the State of Florida more many years, I'm impressed with his investigative protocol and methodology... this detective's presentation and narrative answers every question and fills in every gap of doubt surrounding the event... after seeing his presentation and examining his methodology, this is the very first time I personally am convinced the crime itself has been solved...
