Dave, thanks for the response. So if I hear you correctly I can sell stock A in my non IRA account for a tax loss even though I had bought same stock A in my IRA account within the 30 day window that would have made it a wash sale if it was done in the non IRA account. If you follow that, am I correct? Regards, Bob
