I would suggest people began with books like Bertrand Russell's autobiography, Alfred North Whitehead's adventures in ideas, and the other great thinkers the human species has put forth from Plato and Socrates, to Mark Twain, Nietzsche and Dostoyevsky, and all the great wonderful thinkers we have today.

I would suggest people embrace modern science. I don't know where you're going to get more solid information, then by learning modern science.

You know somewhere, where the information is more reliable?
