I've been watching NOT for a while. They caught my attention when they picked up the ROF properties from Cliffs for a song and I see the convergence of government interest in developing infrastructure and access to the isolated communities as a win-win. I'm still cautious on this, but took a position at .31 as play on gov't intervention in this region. The chart may have just made a double bottom, but I think it is too early to say either way. There are other ROF properties that could probably benefit but I have not dug into any. The NCA/CCY merger mentioned a few weeks back seems to be gathering steam. News today that Franco Nevada is cleaning up the various NSR and investing more in NCA. They will have about $7M in cash when all is said and done. Related to CUU, I have seen a pretty firm bid floor in place with about 500K shares at 11-12 cents. My guess is this relates to keeping the price around this level for the next PP which should be coming soon.
